Advertising Terms & Conditions
Definitions:
Worthing.co.uk, any of its subsidiary websites, its designers Xposure Interactive, and any third party agents shall hereinafter be referred as the “Company”
All users including advertisers of worthing.co.uk shall hereinafter be referred as the “Client
Terms & Conditions:
The “Client” agrees and fully understand that by using or advertising on worthing.co.uk or any subsidiary sites, they agree to the terms and conditions as set out below.
The “Company” does not support or recommend the products or services advertised nor the organisations advertising them. The “Client” should satisfy themselves on the suitability of any of these products or services and on the nature and standing of these organisations.
The “Company” will not be liable for any damages or losses howsoever caused or suffered by any “Client” who relies on the information within this website, subsidiary sites or any e-newsletter or printed publication that the “Company” may distribute.
Should the the website worthing.co.uk or subsidiary sites be temporarily unavailable to view for any reason whatsoever, the “Company” will not be liable for any damages or losses howsoever caused or suffered. Refunds will not be made under these circumstances.
The “Company” reserve the right at all times to make any change to the contents of worthing.co.uk and any subsidiary sites.
The “Company” reserve the right at all times to make any change to its terms and conditions. It is therefore the responsibility of the “Client” to ensure that they are fully aware of the most up to date version of the site contents and of these terms and conditions.
The “Company” does not guarantee inclusion or placement on worthing.co.uk or any subsidiary sites, for any “free of charge” information submitted by the “Client”. This includes, but not limited to News items, Event items and Business listings.
All advertising or sponsorship fees must be paid in full by the “Client” prior to advertisements being displayed.
All payments are collected by Xposure Interactive, via their current payment methods.
All advertising and sponsorship periods will commence the day that they go live on worthing.co.uk or any subsidiary sites.
Refunds will not be given once an order has been submitted.
The “Client” may request at any time for their submitted information to be edited and/or completely removed from worthing.co.uk or any subsidiary sites, the “Company” will endeavour to implement such a request promptly. Advertisement or sponsorship fees will not be refunded in part or in full, if the client requests their information or material to be removed before the end of their agreed advertising period.
The “Company” does not guarantee inclusion of any information submitted by the “Client” for use within any “Free Of Charge” section of worthing.co.uk or any subsidiary sites. The “Company” may remove any “Free Of Charge” information that has been included at any time without notification.
By submitting any information or material to the “Company”, the “Client” agrees that they fully own and are authorised to submit the information and material. The “Client” agrees to grant the “Company” a non-exclusive licence to use the submitted information / material and the unrestricted right to freely use, edit, alter, reproduce, publish and/or distribute the information or material for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, without acknowledgement or compensation to you the “Client”.
The “Client” fully understands that banner ads may be rotated in continual sequence with other banners.
The “Company” are not responsible for any external website content that is linked from worthing.co.uk or any subsidiary sites.
Free of charge “Business Listings”, and “Going Out” listings are subject to our “Free Of Charge Area” policy. The “Free Of Charge Area” is currently: Worthing, Rustington, Angmering, Goring, Ferring, Patching, Findon, Steyning, Lancing & Shoreham. The “Company” reserves the right to alter or change the “Free Of Charge Area” at any time without notification. View the “Free Listings Area” map. https://www.worthing.co.uk/free-listings-area.
Businesses or an individual, may have one single “Free” Business Listing, providing the business is based within our “Free Of Charge Area”.
“Business Listings” and “Events Guide” listings that do not fall within the “Free Of Charge Area”, will be charged at the current rate as advertised on worthing.co.uk.
These conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising shall fall exclusively within the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
