Cocorose Flowers has always been the dream of Mine, who was born with a passion for flowers, and an eye for attention to detail….

“As a child I would love to make tiny bouquets out of forget-me-nots, or jars of rose petal perfume, and leave in the garden for my ‘fairy friend’ who was named ‘Fairy Pricilla Twinkle’…

She was a beautiful, magical creature who was invented by my late mother Grace, and brought to life in my imagination.

I remember being entranced by the ‘Colour Table’ at primary school, where each week a colour was chosen and we had to bring items in from home to match the colour scheme.”

I can still remember the excitement and magic of those childhood moments….and have carried them through in my passion for flowers.

After years of playing with flowers as a hobby, and creating flowers for family weddings and funerals, I experienced a life changing family trauma…this was a turning point for me to quit my 13 year office based career, and officially study and train in floristry.

I became a ‘mature’ student and attended Brinsbury College in Pulborough, West Sussex on a full time NVQ floristry course, which involved work experience in several florist shops, competing in The Spring Florist Show – Birmingham and finally qualifying in 2000.

However, florists are always learning and I have continued to enrol onto day courses in various aspects of floristry, to keep my work current.

My flowers are created ‘with love’ from my Cocorose Cabin, so please get in touch with your flowery requirements…I look forward to hearing from you!
